Alpaca Ciclismo contributes and participates in organized events and activities in the Maule region of Chile and supports team inter-change for bicycle racing in Chile.  Some events in the region have included eco-tours and vineyard tours by bicycle, mountain bike race organization, and team support.  In addition maintenance clinics for mountain bikes and yoga classes are also available.  Alpaca Ciclismo offers fully customized cycling tour vacations that escape the hustle and bustle of the modern world.

Mark Knowles and Chelsea Harris, founders of Alpaca Ciclismo, have traveled the world racing their bicycles, training with local teams, meeting great people, and enjoying many beautiful places. They decided to settle down in the heart of Chile and share all the kindness of life on the bicycle can give with those who also love the sport of cycling.

Mark and Chelsea will be your hosts and guides from start to finish. With more than twenty years of experience in the cycling industry, coaching, teaching, and nutrition studies, not to mention culinary arts, you will be in good hands on your cycling adventure.

Carlos Villarroel, native to the Maule region, is our liaison for projects and clinics in the local school system.  His knowledge and friendship has provided Alpaca Ciclismo the opportunity to continue building a stronger tie to youth development in Curico.
